Lansing Blitz Information!

Good evening WMU! Lansing Blitz is this Thursday, March 24, on the Michigan State Capitol Lawn! Lansing Blitz is a collaboration between the 15 public universities in Michigan where we all venture to Lansing and rally for higher education funding!

The State of Michigan has cut higher education funding throughout the past 15 years throwing students further and further into debt. This coming year is no exception to this statement as Governor Snyder has proposed an enormous cut to higher education funding: 21%! This is inexcusable and it is time that students, faculty, staff, and community members team up with other universities and rally for this much needed and well deserved funding! Transportation to and from Lansing as well as lunch is FREE to EVERYONE representing WMU! Find the details below!
