Is it xmas break yet?

Another meeting another rash number of confirmations! Congrats to everyone who was confirmed at yesterdays meeting! I should be spanked for not posting last night but school is getting busy for me! Sowwy WSA :(

Anyways yesterdays meeting was busy but productive! We added a slew of new college senators for Arts and Sciences and one for the College of Engineering. We also elected Kate Kivel for the Rules and Bylaws committee (?) Then we began discussing the approval of the Allocation Guidelines. Unfortunately at this time I had to leave due to a situation dealing with a roommate and her frequently "missing" key. So if anyone wants to comment about what happened that would be WONDERFUL!

Other exciting things are going on inside the WSA in the next couple weeks and that includes the first OPEN FORUM WITH DR.DIANE ANDERSON! Hurray! Dr. Anderson is coming next Wednesday October 20 after the meeting to take YOUR questions about student life. Feel free to ask about your residence hall, dining room, RSO, campus activities, athletics ETC. Dr. Anderson is the President of Student Affairs and Dean of Students she loves Western even more than Erin Kaplan and is FULL of information

Also on October 20 is Western Wednesday Voter Awareness Edition! The WSA will be out by the flagpoles handing out non-partisan voter guides, pins, buttons, and t-shirts encouraging students to vote! Even though this year is not a presidential election its still SO important students vote because Michigan's governor spot is up for grabs and that effects the amount of money given to WMU!

ANNOUNCING: YouWMU! A video escapade created by students, featuring students, and seasoned with the spice of the WSA! Keep your eyes peeled for radical PR committee members with cameras!

I shall leave you with some pictures from our lovely WSA Cabinet.

Have a great and safe weekend Broncos!
