Election Day!

Hello Bronco Voters!

Congratualtions to you if you voted today and if you didn't it's not too late! Drive the 400 miles home to vote because you never know it could mean the extra $400 rise on your tuition.

Sorry I have been non-existent this last week, I feel like no one reads this blog so I have been neglecting it. So if you do read it, tell me and encourage me to keep posting!

Anyways I feel like a broken record but the WSA is getting busier and busier! The first resolution was introduced last week and the atmosphere of the meeting got a little scary...  But everyone had their opinions and that is fabulous! I even put my input into the discussion! YAY!

We also had the candidate meet-and-greet. We are so thankful for those who showed up, and for those who don't you better not hope your election doesn't come down to the one voter who spoke with your competition! I loved it because I spoke with a few candidates about their role in Kalamazoo, WMU, and the WSA how cool is that?

Finally we will voting on the resolution this week during the senate meeting about eliminating parking spots for students with hybrid vehicles.

Did everyone give blood? WMU LOST TO CMU in the blood drive even though we donated more than double the amount of the "flying c's" which is a load of bronco dung! We smoked them but the "Red Cross" wanted to go by who beat their goal and who didn't. RUDE. Anyways shout out to my boy Joey Blashick (that's how it sounds) for spending his time and patience on making the blood drive successful. WMU, you saved a ton of lives. THANKS!

Christina Clarke (Speaker) is looking for a philanthropy chair that will assist the cabinet with charity events. However since I am so into the Holidays I am going to start working on a few things for the cabinet and the senate. My idea is too sponsor two families for the holidays. One from the Senate and one from the Cabinet. I also want to volunteer at a soup kitchen or a homeless shelter.

Whatever religion you are and whatever you celebrate during the holidays I think we can all agree that charity is something everyone can give. :) especially us Broncos!

More after the Senate meeting, see you all there! 4:15pm Bernhard Center rm 157 11/3
