Erin's Last Post!

On the eve of my last day as the Public Relations Chair of the Western Student Association, before I sob like a baby and jump for joy that my Wednesday afternoons are free, I want to leave the two maybe three readers of this blog with one last post.... (don't pretend like you read this, you don't!) (hi mom!)

So on Cabinet Retreat over the summer we wrote ourselves letters to open at the end of the year when our administration was over. Well we got to open our letters last night! and I was so excited about mine that I want to share it with you...

So this is what I wrote in July of last year............

Dear Erin,

I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU'RE GRADUATING. I hope this year has shown you that involvement can make a difference - I hope you accomplished the things you set your mind too and I hope this position has prepared you for what comes next!

Looking back on the year I hope you feel like it was a success and not too stressful! I hope it was worth all those long nights staying up til 5AM working on papers for DBH and press releases for the WSA.

Finally I hope the opportunities you were given - were not taken for granted and you learned from every mistake along the way.

Good luck girl,
Love Yourself............

Wow did I hit the nail on the head with the DBH part huh? muahhaha.

Anyways even though this is my last post, it is not goodbye - for a new PR chair will "take the reigns," (get it? ha ha) and probably do a million cooler things than I ever did! So have a great summer everyone and get ready for a brand new administration!

Goodbye friends :)

PS. Erin Kaplan and Hailey Mangrum will be inaugurated as the next President and Vice-President tomorrow (Wednesday) at 4:15pm in room 157 of the Bernhard Center. See everyone there!
